Dr.-Ing. Julia Hoxha

Dr.-Ing. Julia Hoxha has held a variety of positions since 2004. Dr.-Ing. Julia began their career as a Lecturer at the University of Tirana, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Informatic Department. In 2007, they became a Student Research Assistant at RWTH-Aachen, Informatik 5 Department. From 2009 to 2014, they were a PhD candidate and Research Associate at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, followed by a Postdoctoral Research Scientist position at Columbia University in the City of New York. In 2011, they became a Cofounder and Senior Advisor at the Albanian Institute of Science. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Cofounder at MyOffice'Al. In 2019, they became an Ambassador of Women in Voice Germany. In 2020, they became the Head of Working Group 'Health' at KI Bundesverband e.V. and an Expert Evaluator at the European Commission. Dr.-Ing. Julia is currently the Cofounder and CEO of Zana.

Dr.-Ing. Julia Hoxha's education history includes a Doctor of Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 2009 to 2014, a Master of Science from RWTH Aachen University from 2006 to 2009, and a BA from American University in Bulgaria from 2000 to 2004. Dr.-Ing. Julia also attended Columbia University from 2014 to 2016 for Medical Informatics.
