Melanie Shufflebotham has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 1992, they worked as an Account Manager at Conduit Communications, where they were responsible for understanding client requirements and delivering projects. After that, they joined 3Com in 1997 and held two positions: Business Development Manager - eCommerce, where they led the design and implementation of the first European e-Commerce website, and Product Marketing Manager, where they managed a product line worth £200 million and launched new products in the small business market. In 2000, Melanie founded Lucky Productions Ltd and served as Director until 2002. Melanie then joined T-Mobile International as a Senior Manager - Strategic Partnerships, where they identified and delivered product, marketing, and strategic opportunities with key partners. Since 2010, Melanie has been the COO and Co-founder of Zapmap, the UK's leading app and digital platform for electric vehicle (EV) drivers. Their role involves mapping and providing live availability status for public charge points, as well as facilitating communication and payment between EV drivers.
Melanie Shufflebotham completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at INSEAD in 1996. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge, which they attended from 1988 to 1991.

Launched in June 2014, Zap-Map.com is a new website dedicated to all aspects of electric vehicles and charging.
