Cesare Jenkins

Senior Product Engineer at Zap Surgical Systems

Cesare Jenkins has a varied work experience spanning from 2008 to the present. In 2008, they were a Research/Teaching Assistant at BYU School of Technology. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Research Assistant at BYU Applied Biomechanical Engineering Lab and an Engineering Technician III at Merit Medical Systems, Inc. In 2012, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at Stanford University School of Medicine and a Medical Device Engineering Consultant at Independent Consulting. Since 2016, they have been a Senior Product Engineer and Intern at ZAP Surgical Systems, Inc.

Cesare Jenkins attended Brigham Young University from 2005 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Cesare then attended Stanford University from 2011 to 2013, earning a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. In October 2011, they obtained an Engineer in Training certification from NCEES. Finally, they returned to Stanford University from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering.
