Velusamy Subbarayalu

Velusamy Subbarayalu is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the transportation and technology sectors. Currently serving as Engineering Technical Lead at Wabtec Corporation since February 2020, Velusamy has also held positions as Advanced Lead Engineer and Lead Engineer. Prior experience includes Lead Engineer and Engineer/Technologist roles at GE Transportation from August 2014 to January 2020, as well as a Software Engineer position at Larsen & Toubro Technology Services from July 2012 to July 2014. Velusamy began a career as a Post Graduate Executive Trainee at L&T Integrated Engineering Services. Educationally, Velusamy holds a Master’s degree in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence from Liverpool John Moores University, a Master of Engineering in Avionics from Madras Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Sri Sairam Engineering College. Expertise includes real-time flight simulation, derating, and tolerance analysis.
