Georg Weidlich has over 25 years of experience in the medical physics and dosimetry field. Georg began their career in 1992 as a Medical Physicist at Adventist Health. In 1994, they took on the role of Senior Consultant at Elekta. In 1995, they were appointed President of the National Medical Physics and Dosimetry Comp, Inc. and Radiological Physicist at Sierra View Medical Center. From 2004 to 2007, they worked as a Consultant Physicist at AMFS (American Medical Forensic Specialists, An Ontellus Company) and a Consultant at CyberHeart, Inc. From 2005 to 2012, they were a Consultant at Accuray and Stanford University. Finally, since 2016, they have been the Medical Physicist and Radiation Safety Officer at ZAP Surgical Systems, Inc.

Georg Weidlich obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Physics from the University of Tübingen between 1984 and 1987. Georg then earned their Master's Degree in Physics from Oregon State University between 1987 and 1989. In 1990, they received their Dr. Ing. in Medical Physics/Electrical Engineering from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau and a Certificate in Project Management from the University of California, Berkeley in 1991 and 1992. Georg also obtained a Commercial Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in December 2014, American Mensa Life Member status from American Mensa in August 2009, and Therapeutic and Diagnostic Radiological Physics certification from the American Board of Radiology in July 1995.
