George Wu

George Wu has over 13 years of experience in accounting and finance. George began their career in 2018 as Corporate Controller at ZAP Surgical Systems, Inc., where they were responsible for global accounting and finance functions, including budgeting, financial planning and analysis, and board and management reporting. George also drove the implementation of Netsuite from QuickBooks. Prior to that, they worked at Varian Medical Systems from 2005 to 2018 in various roles, including Director of Finance, Worldwide Customer Support Services Controller/Finance Director, and Director of Internal Audit. In these roles, they managed all finance, accounting, contract administration, and order management related to Customer Support Services, provided technical accounting guidance on GAAP and PCAOB, and brought the internal audit function in-house resulting in significant savings.

George Wu obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from San Jose State University between 1989 and 1993. George then attended Stanford University's Stanford Executive Institute to pursue a degree in Business Administration and Management, General in 2014. George also holds a CPA (InActive) certification.
