Raheem Shaik

Raheem Shaik is the VP of Engineering at Zapoj. Prior to their current role, they served as Technical Project Lead at Aadhya Analytics Inc from January 2017 to April 2018. In this role, they were responsible for designing the database using MongoDB and Redis, writing various api's and socket methods using Node.js, express and Socket.IO frameworks, implementing cluster to make sure to work with multi cores and at load balancing, implementing Real time chatting using redis pub/sub, implementing signaling for WEBRTC to make audio and video calls, implementing Geo fencing maps to locate users in particular area, and writing various lambda functions for background process execution.

From May 2016 to December 2016, Shaik served as Senior Software Developer at QUALCOMM COMMUNICATIONS. In this role, they were responsible for writing server side code using node.js, creating REST Api’s, maintaining mongodb database, writing unit and Acceptance test cases, doing all log management using bunyan logger and sending logs to logstash through tcp and then to kafka queue and then to elastic search, visualizing logs to kibana interface and logrotate to remove old logs, creation of user interface using angular and bootstrap.

Prior to their role at QUALCOMM COMMUNICATIONS, Shaik served as Senior Software Developer at ICONMA from October 2014 to April 2016.

Raheem Shaik has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from Vignan Institute of Technology & Sciences and an Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from MBTS Govt Poly College. Raheem also holds a certification from MongoDB University in MongoDB for Node.js Developers.

Their manager is Sunil Gutta, Founder & CEO. They are on a team with and Vijay Yerragudi - Managing Director.
