Zaina Mbaruku Njite

Zaina Mbaruku Njite is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Director of Legal Affairs at Zaria Group Limited since February 2024. Prior to this role, Zaina held the position of Head of Legal at BURN and was the Managing Partner at KAZI ADVOCATES LLP. Zaina’s extensive legal career includes significant experience at GE, where Zaina worked as Lead Counsel for Commercial & Legal Counsel in East Africa, advising on corporate legal matters across five countries. Zaina also previously served as a Legal Officer at Liquid Intelligent Technologies and gained foundational legal experience through roles as a Legal Assistant and Pupil at Balala & Abed Advocates. Zaina holds an LL.B from the University of Nairobi, a postgraduate diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, and is a Certified Secretary.
