George Thompson

George Thompson is an experienced project manager and industrial designer with a solid background in developing innovative consumer devices and prototypes. Currently at Zasso, George has been leading the design and development of next-generation electric weeding devices since August 2019, after serving as an industrial designer at Zasso GmbH Digital Herbicide since January 2018. Prior to this, George worked at IRIS from September 2015 to September 2016, focusing on designing prototypes for in-line monitoring systems for quality control in the food and pharmaceutical sectors. George holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from Loughborough University (2013-2017) and completed high school at Bedford Modern School (2011-2013).
