Melissa Wood

Melissa Wood has extensive experience in sales and marketing roles within the food and beverage industry. Melissa currently holds the position of Director of Catering & Marketing at Zaxby's Franchising LLC, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Managing Owner of Midwood Mix from 2021 to 2023. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Consumer Sales Manager at Tide Cleaners. Melissa also has a long history with Panera Bread, where they held the positions of Senior Catering Sales Manager from 2017 to 2020 and Regional Catering Sales Manager from 2010 to 2016. Melissa began their career as a Sales and Marketing Manager at Ruth's Chris Steak House, where they worked from 1998 to 2010.

Melissa Wood holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University.
