Alex Aland has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, serving as the General Manager for Hotel ZaZa since April 2009, where responsibilities included overseeing the opening and management of operations in Austin. Previous roles include Complex Director of Food and Beverage for properties in Dallas and Houston, and Director of Restaurants/Maitre at Fearing's Restaurant under The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company from May 2007 to February 2009, where Alex implemented service standards and hired over 100 employees. Earlier experience includes positions such as Director of Operations at Bev Gannon Restaurants and Banquets Manager at Spago Maui. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Restaurant Management from The University of Alabama, obtained in 2001.
