Øystein Kaarstad Helgesen

Øystein Kaarstad Helgesen has a diverse work experience. Øystein Kaarstad is currently working as a Senior Autonomy Engineer at Zeabuz since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) as a PhD Candidate from February 2019 to February 2023. In this role, they focused on Sensor Fusion and Situational Awareness for autonomous urban ferries. Øystein Kaarstad also worked at NTNU as a Student Assistant from August 2017 to December 2018. Moreover, they gained experience as a Summer Student at DNV GL in both 2018 and 2017.

Øystein Kaarstad Helgesen pursued their higher education at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Building upon this knowledge and expertise, they then enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program at NTNU in 2019.
