Kai Töpel

Kai Töpel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in venture development and innovation. Currently serving as Director of Venture Development at ZEAL Network SE since July 2023, Kai focuses on new business identification, validation, and growth strategy while fostering cross-functional collaboration. As a Co-Founder of Sprintbetter GmbH & Co. KG since February 2018, Kai empowers teams to innovate and develop new products and services. Previous roles include leading venture building teams at SQUARED by OBI and OBI Group Holding, concentrating on home improvement and sustainability initiatives. Additionally, Kai has been a Startup Coach at weißensee kunsthochschule berlin, sharing expertise in Design Thinking. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in General Psychology from New York University and a Diplom in Psychology from Technische Universität Dresden.
