Jon Griffin has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Jon started their career as a Research Scientist at Zeneca Agrochemicals in 1998 and worked there until 2000. Jon then joined AstraZeneca R&D, where they held the positions of Senior Research Scientist from 2004 to 2009 and Analytical Scientist in Pharmaceutical Development from 2009 to 2011. In 2012, Griffin joined Zealand Pharma as a Scientist in the Department of Bioanalysis and Pharmacokinetics. Jon was later promoted to Senior Scientist in 2015, Principal Scientist in 2018, and currently holds the role of Senior Principal Scientist at the company.
Jon Griffin completed their Ph.D. degree in Proteomics at the University of Bristol from 2000 to 2003. Prior to that, they earned a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from The University of Manchester, where they studied from 1993 to 1996. Their education history also includes an M.Sc. degree in Applied Molecular Microbiology from the University of Nottingham, although the specific dates of completion are not provided.
