Alvin Pon has worked in the software engineering field since 2010. In 2010, they worked as a Software Engineer at Quanta Computer Inc. and Avision, where they developed, tested, deployed, maintained, and debugged applications written in Visual C++, Microsoft Foundation Class, and Active Template Library. Alvin also implemented thermometer and compass drivers in the Linux kernel and the TWAIN protocol. From 2013 to 2015, Alvin worked as a Software Engineer at AMI: American Megatrends, Inc. and Comwave. During this time, they developed, tested, deployed, maintained, and debugged Advanced Linux Sound Architecture drivers in the Linux kernel. From 2015 to 2018, Alvin was an Assistant Web Developer at College of San Mateo and a Coding Instructor at theCoderSchool. In this role, they manipulated OU Campus to manage the websites of the San Mateo County Community College District, architected an automatic deployment, wrote PowerShell scripts, and taught coding. Since 2019, Alvin has worked as a Senior Associate at PwC, where they have migrated data from databases of IBM and Oracle to Salesforce and Marketing Cloud for China Airlines, architected RESTful APIs, and implemented an awarding program. Currently, Alvin is a Senior Software Engineer at Zealogics Inc., where they develop, tests, deploys, maintains, and debugs original C++ code for ASML products, contributes to technical discussions, code reviews, and internal shares, and writes design documents on Confluence.

Alvin Pon obtained their Master's degree in Information Management from Yuan-Ze University between 2006 and 2008. Alvin also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Management from I-Shou University between 2001 and 2005. Additionally, they obtained a Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I certification from Salesforce in November 2020.
