Petr Bela has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. In 2011, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at CA Technologies, where they developed service monitoring and risk analysis platforms. In the same year, they co-founded Studentive, a platform connecting students with companies for practical experience. However, the company later shut down. Petr also organized Startup Weekend Prague in early 2012. In mid-2012, they co-founded Kdyjedes, a platform for planning train travels and buying tickets online. After merging with another company, they moved on. Later in 2012, they joined Chute and worked as a Software Engineer, mainly focusing on front-end development and custom solutions for customers. In 2016, Petr co-founded Flex TV, a fitness platform that synchronized workouts with Apple Watch and provided a digital community for fitness enthusiasts. Petr served as the CTO until 2019. In 2017, Petr became an investor in Phantom AR, an operating system for augmented reality apps. Petr also took on the role of a Technical Advisor at XTND, a company that aimed to build an advanced electric longboard. Unfortunately, the company couldn't secure enough funding for mass production. In 2018, Petr participated in the Techstars Boulder accelerator program as an entrepreneur. Finally, in 2019, they co-founded Zealous, a Community Conversations Platform, where they served as the Co-Founder and CTO.

From 2015 to 2017, Petr pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
In 2011 to 2012, Petr attended the Czech Technical University in Prague, where they studied Informatics.
During the academic year of 2010 to 2011, Petr participated in an exchange program at Delft University of Technology, focusing on Computer Science.
Petr earned their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from VSB - Technical University of Ostrava, completing their studies from 2006 to 2011.
Prior to university, Petr attended Maticni gymnazium Ostrava, a Grammar School, from 1998 to 2006, where they studied General subjects.
Apart from their formal education, Petr has obtained several certifications.
