Dov Caspi has worked in a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2002. Dov began their career at ioimage as a Streaming Server Developer, where they developed video streaming servers and clients in C++. In 2004, they became the 3D Content and Tools Team Leader at Samsung, where they developed 3D engines above OpenGL ES 1.0 and 2.0. From 2009 to 2011, they worked at Lucid as an Advanced Technology Group member, developing C++ DirectX kernel level and UMD level interception mechanisms for GPU load balancing systems. During this time, they also worked at GameStudio972 as a Self-Employed Developer, creating 3D game engines for Android and IPhone. From 2011 to 2013, they worked at Intel Corporation in two roles: VPG Visual and Parallel Computing Group - Mobile Graphics, and Mobile Infrastructure Developer. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at Nanox AI as a Senior Research Engineer, developing GPU computation services systems and web-based IDEs for scientists. Finally, from 2016 to 2020, they worked at Citi as a Senior Research Engineer - Data Science Team - Scala and Python, where they were responsible for data analysis, aggregation, and porting financial models. In 2020, they returned to Nanox AI as the Head of Research Engineering.
Dov Caspi's education history includes a Practical Eng degree in Electronics from Amal B Petach Tikva, obtained between 1990 and 1992. Dov also holds four certifications from Coursera, obtained in April and May of 2022, in Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, Convolutional Neural Networks in TensorFlow, Natural Language Processing in TensorFlow, and Custom Models, Layers, and Loss Functions with TensorFlow.
