Shiri Assis Hassid, PhD

Shiri Assis Hassid, PhD has worked in a variety of roles since 2007. Shiri began their career as a Consultant at Widelink Effective Management in 2007. In 2008, they became a Consultant and R&D Project Manager- EU at EPA- Edna Pasher PhD & Associates, where they contributed to EU-funded studies. Shiri then joined Niram Gitan Group as a Training Development in 2009. In 2010, they began working as a Senior Consultant at Widelink Business Solutions Ltd and as a PhD Student Industrial Engineering and Management at Ben Gurion University. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard University SEAS & Brigham and Women's Hospital, where their research focused on healthcare informatics. In 2018, they began working at the Ministry of Health Israel as FHIR - IL Core Leader, Big Data Research and Technology Implementation, and Digital Health Innovation and Ideation Associate. In 2021, they became Vice President of Product Management at Octopus.Health, and in 2022 they became Director of Clinical Products at Nanox AI.

Shiri Assis Hassid has a long and distinguished educational history. Shiri obtained their BA in Political Science and Philosophy from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2006. Shiri then went on to earn their M.Sc in Organizational Behavior from Tel Aviv University in 2008. In 2010, they began their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Industrial Engineering at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, and obtained their PhD certification in June of 2015. Shiri then went on to Harvard University where they were a Post-doc fellow in Medical Informatics from 2015 to 2017.
