Juanjo Carrillo is a seasoned professional in the field of art direction and scenography with extensive experience spanning several decades. Currently serving as an Escenografo at Fundación Inocente since October 2024, Carrillo also holds the position of Director de Arte at Zebraproduciones, where work has been ongoing since 2020. With a rich creative background, Carrillo has contributed as Art Director for multiple acclaimed projects, including "EL Cid" for Amazon Prime and "Insider" for Netflix under Grupo iZen. Carrillo's educational foundation includes a Diplomatura in Escenografía from IORTV and an architectural degree from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, enhancing a career that began at TVE as an Escenografo and spans roles in production and direction across various prominent companies.

Zebra has produced more than 18 films, winning 5 Goyas and 9 nominations to the Spanish Academy Awards in addition to official selection and prizes in over 20 festivals. Zebra has produced more than 600 episodes of scripted series for the main Spanish broadcasters. The company is currently developing two tv series for Movistar+, the adaptation of the bestselling trilogy “Memento Mori” by Cesar Perez Gellida, and ROLE, a story developed in-house, based on a field hospital in Afghanistan. In 2017 ZEBRA and Veralia Contenidos merged their TV content production activities, becoming the leading independent content producers in Spain: iZen Producciones. The new group currently produces over 1,100 hours per year of non-scripted and about 430 hours per year of scripted content in Spain and has and has a combined team of more than 400 talented production staff.
