Haji Jamil joined Zecon Berhad on 08 May 2001 as an Independent Director and was later appointed as Executive Director on 06 July 2005. Currently, he is serving as Vice President in charge of the Group Finance and Account effective 02 August 2010.
Prior to his stint with Zecon Berhad, he was a Senior General Manager with Land Custody and Development Authority (LCDA) and Pelita Holdings Sdn Bhd. He used to serve with Jabatan Audit Negara, Internal Audit Division of Sarawak Economic Development Authority (SEDC) & and Hamden & Kiu dan Rakan-Rakan. He is currently a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and has served as a Director of Sarawak Oil Palms Berhad from 2003-2005.
