Shyamala Venkatachalam is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the media industry. Currently serving as the Chief Legal Officer at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited, Shyamala also founded Shyamala Venkatachalam LLP, The REMEDIATION Company. Prior roles include Executive Vice President and Head of Business Counsel at STAR India Private Limited, as well as Executive Vice President and Head of Legal and Regulatory at Mediapro Enterprise India Private Limited. Shyamala has held senior legal positions at STAR DEN MEDIA SERVICES PVT LTD. Academically, Shyamala is pursuing a Master of Arts in Media Studies & Marketing from Bournemouth University and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Calcutta University in Kolkata.
