Albert Horta Llobet

Albert Horta Llobet has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Albert began their career in 2001 as the Co-Founder and Manager of Rinho Sistemas, S.L. where they worked until 2007. In 2008, they joined Intercom Worldwide (Careesma) as a Senior PHP Developer, specializing in Zend Framework, MVC frameworks, MySQL optimization, and Full-Text search tools. Albert worked there until 2010.

From 2010 to 2012, Albert worked at FloraQueen, first as a Project Manager responsible for building a new system from the ground up, and then as the Chief Technology Officer, overseeing the IT department and managing the adoption of a new platform. Albert was in charge of managing Linux servers and streamlining testing processes.

After FloraQueen, Albert worked at cisha GmbH as a Senior PHP developer, where they focused on NOSQL development and worked with CouchDB and Yii framework. Albert then joined Top Concepts GmbH as a Senior PHP Developer, specializing in PHP development.

In 2015, Albert joined Stuart as a Senior PHP & Ruby developer, and in 2016, they became the Chief Technology Officer at Morillas Branding Agency. There, they held the position of Chief Technology Officer until 2018.

Most recently, Albert worked at Zeelo as the Backend Lead, starting in 2018.

Albert Horta Llobet began their education journey in 2001 at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they pursued a degree in Systems, Web Development & Databases. Albert completed their studies in this field in 2005.

In 2007, Albert returned to the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya for further education, this time in the field of Videogames Development. Albert concluded their studies in this area in 2008.
