Bruno Pereira Coelho has extensive experience in data science and analytics. Bruno currently works at Zego as a Lead Data Scientist, where they have refined the use of Telematics data to improve risk understanding, developed an in-house credit score using third-party data, and experimented with generative AI tools to enhance user engagement. Prior to Zego, they worked at Siemens as a Senior Data Scientist, leading projects from concept to production and conducting financial KPI forecasting projects. Bruno also has experience as a Business Analytics Consultant at Mind Source, where they worked on various projects involving credit scoring, cross-sell predictive analytics, and decision support systems. Bruno Pereira Coelho completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Applied Mathematics and Computation at Instituto Superior Técnico from 2003 to 2006. Bruno then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mathematics and Applications, specializing in Probabilities and Statistics from 2006 to 2009 at the same institution. Bruno also obtained additional certifications, including "Cluster Analysis in Data Mining," "Text Retrieval and Search Engines," "Pattern Discovery in Data Mining," and "Mining Massive Datasets" from Coursera. In 2013, they received a Certificate of Teaching Skills from IEFP.
