Greg von Nessi

Greg von Nessi has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Greg is currently working at Zego as a Lead Staff Engineer since July 2023. Before that, they were a Staff Engineer at Zego from April 2022 to July 2023. Prior to Zego, they worked at Entrolution as a Corporate Mathematician and Research Software Engineer. From July 2020 to April 2022, they served as the Tech. Lead (Marketing Technology) at Depop. Greg was also the Head of Data & Research at Chatroulette AG from September 2019 to July 2020. Before that, they held the position of Head of Research & Development at Link Digital from May 2018 to June 2019. Greg has also worked as the CTO at SoapBox.ai from November 2017 to June 2018. Additionally, they were a Lead Data Scientist at Link Digital from November 2015 to November 2017 and served as the Head of Research and Data Science at Site Tour from May 2014 to December 2015. Greg began their career as a Research Fellow at The Australian National University in May 2009 and worked there until May 2014. Prior to that, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow from January 2008 to February 2009 and also served as a Teaching Assistant/Tutor from August 2004 to December 2007 at The Australian National University.

Greg von Nessi has a Double Bachelor of Science (BSc) - Honours with Thesis in Mathematics & Physics from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Greg also holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) by Research in Pure Mathematics from The Australian National University.
