Jim Hays

Jim Hays is the current President of Electrical at Zekelman Industries Inc.

Jim started their career in 1988 as the Controller for the Conduit Division at Allied Tube & Conduit. In 1999, they were promoted to General Manager of the same division.

In 2003, Jim left Allied Tube & Conduit to become the Vice President of Sales for the Electrical Division at Tyco Electrical & Metal Products.

In 2009, Jim was recruited by Atkore International to serve as their Global Vice President for the Electrical & Infrastructure Division. Jim served in this role for two years before being recruited by Zekelman Industries Inc. to serve as their President of Electrical in 2011.

Jim Hays received their MBA from DePaul University with a major in accounting and marketing. Prior to that, they received their BBA from Loyola University Chicago with a major in finance.

Jim Hays works with Nick Shubat - President of Fence & Mechanical, Michael J. Graham - Chief Financial Officer, and Randy Boswell - EVP & Chief Commercial Officer, Atlas Tube. Their manager is Barry Zekelman, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
