Design Lead at ZELP

Adam Harvey-Cook began their work experience in 2008 as a Trainee Services Engineer at WSP Group, where they assisted senior engineers in delivering designs for renovation and new-build projects. Adam developed soft skills and gained an understanding of professional engineering processes during this role.

In 2013, they joined Dyson as a Graduate Design Engineer, where they successfully implemented quality processes during a global product recall and planned and implemented new testing methods for multiple projects. Adam also developed an early-stage project from layout drawings to the first prototype. Adam later became a Design Engineer at Dyson, where they developed mechanical assemblies and provided mentoring and guidance to junior team members.

In 2016, Adam joined DCA Design International as a Mechanical Engineer, working on various projects until 2018. Adam then became a Senior Mechanical Engineer until 2020.

In 2020, Adam moved to Loowatt Ltd as a Lead Engineer, overseeing project development until 2023.

Adam's most recent role is as a Senior Design Engineer at ZELP Ltd, starting in April 2023.

From 2009 to 2013, Adam Harvey-Cook attended Imperial College London where they pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering.
