Senior Optical Engineer at Zemax

Alessandra Croce began their work experience in 2011 with an internship at Laboratoire Kastler Brossel, where they explored classical and quantum noise in femtosecond lasers. In 2012, they completed an internship at Horiba, focusing on the development of an optical interferometer for in-situ depth measurements. Croce then joined Beck Optronic Solutions Ltd in 2013 as a Test Engineer and Project Engineer, where they performed interferometry-based testing and managed the development of opto-mechanical prototypes. Finally, Croce joined Zemax, LLC in 2015, initially as an Optical Engineer and later promoted to the position of Senior Optical Engineer. Their tenure at Zemax is ongoing.

Alessandra Croce started their education at the University of Palermo, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Physics from 2005 to 2010. Alessandra then pursued a Master of Science degree in Applied Physics from Pierre and Marie Curie University from 2010 to 2011, specializing in the field of study is not specified. Alessandra continued their education at the Institut d'Optique Graduate School from 2011 to 2012, focusing on Optics and Photonics.

In addition to their formal education, Alessandra Croce has also obtained several certifications. In 2016, they completed the "MATLAB Fundamentals" program offered by MathWorks. The following year, in 2017, they obtained the certification for "Programming with C# for beginners" from the London Academy of IT. Finally, in 2018, they received the "Agile PM Fundamentals and Practitioner" certification from APM Group.
