Biruk Assefa

Biruk Assefa has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Biruk started their career in 2008 as a Sales Head at Yascai and Family Plc, a manufacturing company producing chemicals from starch. Biruk worked there for two years before joining Ayat Real Estate Share Company in 2010 as a Sales Representative, where they promoted and sold various apartments and villas to customers in Ethiopia and abroad. In 2012, Biruk joined Zemen Bank S.C. and held multiple roles, including Principal Business Development Officer and Business and SME Department Manager. In these positions, they consulted with international and local businesses, offering them the bank's services and providing personalized attention to their banking needs.

Biruk Assefa completed their high school education at Teferi Mokonen Senior High School from 1998 to 2002. Biruk then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Marketing Management at St. Mary University College in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia from 2005 to 2008.

Continuing their education, Biruk enrolled in Mekele University where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Marketing/Marketing Management, General. Biruk pursued this degree from 2017 to 2019.

Additionally, during their time at Mekele University, Biruk also attained a Master's degree in marketing and management from 2017 to 2019.
