Meklit Kassahun began their work experience as a Student Intern at the Federal Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission in July 2019. Meklit then joined Pragma Investment Advisory as a Junior Analyst from April 2021 to August 2021. In August 2021, they became a Young Graduate Trainee at Zemen Bank S.C and transitioned to the role of Customer Service Officer I in November 2021.

Meklit Kassahun attended St. Mary's University from 2017 to 2020, where they pursued a degree in Accounting and Finance. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications, including "Introduction to Capital Markets" and "Introduction to Corporate Finance" from the Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI) in June 2021. Meklit also completed the "Advanced Transaction Advisory Service Training" offered by USAID Catalyzed in May 2021. Furthermore, they obtained certifications in "Excel crash course" and "Reading Financial Statements" from the Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI) in May 2021.
