Paul Sheridan

Paul Sheridan is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in strategic communications and public affairs, currently serving as the Head of Strategic Communications & Public Affairs at ZEN Energy since August 2023. Prior to this role, Paul was the Director of Engagement at the Australian Conservation Foundation, where responsibilities included communications and media advocacy from March 2018 to August 2023. Paul's previous experience includes serving as Communications Manager at The Pew Charitable Trusts, developing media strategies in Australia, and holding positions such as Associate Director at Essential Media Communications, Media and Campaigns Adviser at the NSW Legislative Council, and Communications Manager at Clean Up Australia. An early career included roles as Senior Media Adviser at the Office of the NSW Minister for the Environment and Media Officer at NSW National Parks & Wildlife. Paul began a career in journalism as a reporter for the Daily Telegraph. Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Charles Sturt University, complemented by an education at Barker College and Turramurra High School.
