Jay Millwater

Jay Millwater has over 30 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Jay is currently working as the Associate Director of Biologics Drug Product Development & Manufacturing at Zenas BioPharma since September 2022. Previously, they held various roles at Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services, including Senior Manager, Manager of Drug Product Manufacturing, and Senior Supervisor from November 2017 to September 2022. Before that, they worked at LaJolla Biologics as a Manager of Drug Product Manufacturing from February 2017 to November 2017. Jay also served as the Manager of Materials Management at Nitto Avecia Pharma Services from November 2016 to February 2017. Jay worked at CMC Biologics A/S as a Senior Manager from January 2012 to February 2016, where they were responsible for day-to-day production processes and personnel management. Jay also has experience as a Supervisor at Greer Laboratories from July 2011 to March 2012 and APP Pharmaceuticals from March 2011 to July 2011. Jay served as a Senior Manager of Sterile Manufacturing at AAIPharma Services Corp. from January 2010 to February 2011. Jay started their career at Pfizer as a Set-up Mechanic in 1988 and later worked as a Senior Associate at Amgen from October 2006 to March 2008. Overall, Jay Millwater has gained extensive experience in drug product manufacturing, materials management, and sterile manufacturing throughout their career.

Jay Millwater earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Southern Wesleyan University starting in 2010.
