Courtney Dickey

Courtney Dickey has extensive work experience in the legal field and has held various leadership roles throughout their career. Courtney is currently serving as the Chief Legal Officer at ZenBusiness, a role they have held since May 2023. Prior to their current position, they served as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel at ZenBusiness from April 2021 to May 2023.

Before joining ZenBusiness, Courtney worked at Dosh, where they held the positions of Chief Legal and People Officer from February 2020 to April 2021, and General Counsel from October 2018 to February 2020.

Courtney also served as the General Counsel at Opcity from July 2017 to October 2018. During their time there, they played a key role in managing the acquisition of Opcity by Realtor.com, a subsidiary of News Corp. Courtney was responsible for overseeing the deal and drafting sales scripts that complied with regulatory requirements.

Courtney's earlier work experience includes roles at Expedia Group, where they held positions such as Senior Director of Legal, Americas from April 2015 to July 2017, Director of U.S. Legal Services from April 2013 to April 2015, Corporate Counsel from January 2012 to April 2013, and Staff Attorney from May 2009 to January 2012. At Expedia Group, they focused on product advisement, marketing and advertising, business development, and user terms and conditions.

Courtney began their career at Freescale Semiconductor, where they served as a Senior Contracts Associate from September 2007 to May 2009. In this role, they managed the execution and management of software license agreements and other technical licenses. Courtney also played a key role in the acquisition of SigmaTel, Inc. by Freescale Semiconductor and managed the assignment of agreements between the two companies.

Courtney Dickey attended Baylor University School of Law from 2005 to 2007, earning a JD degree in Law. Prior to that, they studied at Wake Forest University from 2000 to 2004, receiving a BA degree in English. Courtney also holds a certification as a Notary Public from the State of Texas.
