Shota Papiashvili

Shota Papiashvili is the Director of Engineering at Zencity. Shota was previously a Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from March 2021 to April 2022. Prior to that, they were the CTO and VP R&D at Walla! NEWS from March 2015 to March 2021, where they were responsible for the entire R&D of walla.co.il, including web, mobile, DevOps, IT and cyber security. Shota has also worked as a Software Engineer at Intel Corporation from July 2013 to March 2015 and as a Web Developer at Faze from October 2012 to July 2013.

Shota Papiashvili holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Shota also has certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.

They work with Elor Levy - Product Lead, Rotem Rosensweig - Head of Product Marketing, and Alon Shvo - Senior Product Manager. A direct report to Shota Papiashvili is and Shai Malul - Frontend Developer. Shota Papiashvili reports to Ido Ivri, CTO & Co-Founder.
