Laurel Katz

Laurel Katz is a seasoned design professional with a strong background in product design and leadership, currently serving as Principal Product Designer at Zendesk since January 2021. Prior roles include Director of Design at Mode, where Laurel led and mentored a team of designers, and Head of Design at Fabric Genomics, focusing on design strategy and brand vision. Experience also includes several key positions at Practice Fusion, contributing significantly to the creative vision and brand identity, as well as serving as Creative Director and Owner at izles, where Laurel crafted user-focused designs for diverse applications. Earlier in Laurel's career, a role as Art Director at DiNoto Advertising involved overseeing brand experiences for prominent clients. Educational qualifications include a BS in Product Design from ArtCenter College of Design and a BA in Critical Theory & Contemporary Aesthetics from Yale University.
