Peter Karn is a seasoned data analyst and scientist with extensive experience in resilience engineering and product analytics, currently serving as a Staff Data Analyst at Zendesk since January 2019. Prior to this role, Peter was a Business Intelligence Engineer at AE Business Solutions and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison focusing on Cherenkov Telescope Array prototype development, simulation, and data analysis. Peter also contributed as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Irvine, working on HAWC testing, deployment, and data analysis. Peter holds a Ph.D. in Physics from UC Irvine and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Minnesota.
