Daniel Cornew

Head of Aircraft Structures at Zenith Aerospace

Daniel Cornew has a long and varied work experience. Daniel began their career in 2007 as the Chief Engineer for the Northwestern University Solar Car Team. In 2011, they took on the role of Launch Operations Intern for Space Exploration Technologies. In 2012, they became the Chief Mechanical Engineer for Titan Aerospace. From 2014 to 2022, they worked at Google Fiber, where they held the roles of Sr. Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer on the Innovation Team, and Lead Airframe Engineer on the Titan Aerospace Project. In 2022, they moved to Kittyhawk as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, and then to Zenith Aerospace as Head of Aircraft Structures.

Daniel Cornew attended Northwestern University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to that, they attended New Trier. Daniel has not earned any additional certifications.
