Michele Rivas

Michele Rivas is a seasoned legal executive with over 20 years of experience, currently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at Zenith American Solutions, Inc. since June 2018. Rivas leads the in-house legal department, focusing on major legal and regulatory issues while promoting cost control, risk management, and strategic alliances to support business initiatives. Prior to this role, Rivas held several key positions at Kapnick Insurance Group, including Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, providing legal guidance on compliance issues related to ACA, HIPAA, and other federal and state laws. Rivas has also served as an Employee Benefits Attorney at Sullivan, Ward, Asher & Patton, P.C., and worked with other law firms, developing expertise in employee benefits and corporate law. Rivas earned a J.D. magna cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs Management from Michigan State University.
