Peter Klein has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Peter began their career as a Benefits Analyst at Weaver Associates in 1975. In 1980, they joined MEBA Benefit Plans as a Benefits Manager, where they stayed until 2002. After that, they took on the role of Fund Manager at Local 26, IBEW-NECA Joint Trust Funds until 2019. In 2020, Peter became self-employed as the owner of their own business. Later that year, they joined Zenith American Solutions, Inc. as the Vice President of Client Services and Operations for the Mid-Atlantic region, where they currently hold the position.

Peter Klein holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from American University, which they completed between 1971 and 1973. Peter pursued further education in Urban Studies at Temple University from 1969 to 1971. For high school, they attended RCDS from 1964 to 1969. Later, Peter obtained a Professional Certificate in Graphic Design from Sessions College from 2011 to 2014. Peter also earned a Master's degree in Human Resources Management and Services from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland between 1983 and 1986. Additionally, Peter obtained a certification in Technical Writing: Quick Start Guides from LinkedIn in 2020.
