Joe Wightman is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in project leadership and drilling engineering across various sectors in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Project Lead for Wells P&A at Zenith Energy Ltd since November 2019, Joe oversees significant projects for UK North Sea operators, having previously managed well integrity and cost estimations for offshore campaigns in West Africa and new drill operations in Morocco. Previous roles include Well Engineer at Atkins, where Joe executed onshore well interventions and conducted asset integrity studies, and Operations Drilling Engineer at EXCEED, where Joe contributed to decommissioning efforts. With an early career beginning as HVAC Engineer at GSK and Completions Engineer at ADTI, Joe has amassed a wealth of knowledge in drilling operations, wellsite supervision, and mechanical engineering, culminating in a Master's degree with distinction from Oxford Brookes University.

We are an independent company, owned and managed by Engineers, with a core team behind us that are experienced and respected within the Industry. Our multi-disciplined team include Drilling Manager, Well Team Leader, Senior Drilling Engineers and Drilling Engineers all based together in our Aberdeen office. Zenith and our people bring vast experience and skills to any project we are involved in. We are experienced in land drilling, jack-ups, semis and drill ships and our personnel have worked in the UK, Norway, West Africa and the Falklands. We have experience in normal pressure wells, HPHT wells, Horizontal wells and Deep Water wells and working closely with both Drilling Contractors and Service Companies internationally. In addition to our core team, we have access to a pool of experienced Well Engineering personnel covering, Completions, Well Testing, Offshore Supervisors, Subsea and Logistics and Contracts specialists.
