Mason Kalfus

Mason Kalfus is the founder of Zenith Legal, a legal search firm based in Washington, D.C., a position held since June 2015. Prior to this role, Mason served as Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives at Crowell & Moring LLP from May 2011 to June 2015, focusing on the recruitment of lateral partners and groups. Mason also held the position of Senior Manager of Strategic Initiatives at Steptoe & Johnson LLP from January 2007 to May 2011, where efforts were centered on executing firmwide strategy through recruitment initiatives. Earlier career experience includes serving as Engagement Manager at Blaqwell, Inc. (2005-2007), as a strategy consultant at The Boston Consulting Group (2003-2005), as an Antitrust Associate at WilmerHale (2001-2003), and as Law Clerk to Judge Robert B. King at the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit (2000-2001). Mason Kalfus holds a JD from the University of Chicago Law School and a BA in Government from the University of Virginia.
