Julie Chen

Julie Chen has a diverse and extensive work experience in data engineering and application development. Julie is currently employed at Zenni Optical as the Director of Data Engineering, where they are responsible for overseeing data engineering efforts. Prior to this role, they worked at Nylas as a Manager of Data Engineering, where they partnered with leadership to define key KPIs and built data pipelines and a centralized data warehouse. Julie has also held roles at Group Medical Services, where they worked as an Application Developer and a Database & Data Warehouse Developer, contributing to data analytics projects and database merging projects. Julie Chen also has experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Regina.

Julie Chen obtained their Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, General from Qingdao University, where they attended from 2002 to 2006. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Regina, completing their education there from 2006 to 2008.
