Stuart Petrie

Stuart Petrie has a comprehensive and diverse work experience in the creative field. Stuart started their career as the Founder and Owner of Taki183, a company they managed from 1998 to 2004. Stuart then worked as a Designer at Reluctant Hero Studio from 2002 to 2004. After that, they joined Abercrombie & Fitch Co. as a Designer from 2004 to 2006.

Stuart'snext role was as a Senior Designer at AMERICAN EAGLE OUTFITTERS INC. from 2006 to 2010. In this role, they collaborated with cross-functional leadership to drive results and achieved year over year growth. Stuart also co-ordinated and inspired junior designers.

Afterwards, Stuart worked as a Freelance Senior Graphic Designer at Gap Inc. from 2010 to 2011. Stuart then joined Pacific Sunwear as a Senior Design Manager from 2011 to 2014.

From 2016 to 2019, Stuart worked at Oliver Peoples as a Senior Creative Manager. In this role, they managed the creative team's workload and directed various creative projects such as photoshoots, video production, print media, and packaging. Stuart also collaborated with external partners and agencies.

In 2016, Stuart had a brief role as a Senior Art Director (consultant) at Oliver Peoples. Stuart provided creative direction and managed the team's workload.

In 2021, Stuart joined DIFF Eyewear as a Creative Director for the entire year.

Currently, Stuart is working at Zenni Optical as a Creative Director starting from March 2023.

Stuart Petrie attended Heriot-Watt University from 1994 to 1998, where they pursued a degree in Textiles & Fashion Design. Stuart'sfield of study mainly focused on fashion and apparel design.
