Rachel Kanarowski is an accomplished author, speaker, and science communicator, currently engaged in projects such as "Anxious Times, Nervous Systems" and "The Meditation User’s Manual." As the founder and consultant of Year of Living Better®, Rachel has developed strategies to address the intertwined challenges of work and life stress, offering workshops and keynote presentations to various industry groups. With experience as a consultant for the National Institutes of Health and the Chicago Department of Public Health, Rachel has implemented trauma-sensitive mindfulness sessions to enhance workforce well-being. Previous roles include marketing management and content strategy for notable companies, supported by a background in mindfulness facilitation from UCLA.
