Matthias Wilk

Matthias Wilk is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in clinical and research settings. Currently serving as the Head of Clinical Sciences at Zentalis Pharmaceuticals since February 2025, Matthias previously held roles at Pfizer as Global Development Lead and Global Clinical Lead in Oncology, focusing on the development of innovative therapies for hematologic malignancies and solid tumors. Prior to this, Matthias worked as a Research Fellow at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where significant advancements in understanding neurodegenerative diseases and developing preclinical models were achieved. Additional research experience includes time spent at Universitätsspital Zürich, where Matthias investigated Clonal Hematopoiesis and developed a humanized mouse model for Histiocytic Disorders. Early in the career, Matthias served as a Medical Doctor and Clinical Fellow in Hematology/Oncology, and completed residency training at the University of Düsseldorf. The educational foundation includes a medical degree from the University of Düsseldorf and further studies at the University of Zurich.
