Jacinto Cofino

Jacinto Cofino is an experienced professional in the payment industry, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors and Payment Industry Consultant at ZENUS BANK since May 2019. Cofino also holds the position of Advisory Board Member at GM Sectec and is the President and Founder of JC Payment Solutions, a payment industry consulting firm established in March 2018. With an extensive career at Visa, spanning from April 1985 to January 2018, Cofino held various leadership roles, including Head of Risk Services for Latin America and the Caribbean, Head of Chip Technologies, and Vice President of Special Projects (Emerging Technologies). Throughout this tenure, Cofino was instrumental in implementing key technologies and strategies that enhanced the company’s risk management and expanded its network across the region. Education was obtained from Florida International University.
