Jacqueline Umunyana

Jacqueline Umunyana has had a long and varied career in the health sector. Jacqueline began their career in 2010 as a Medical Officer at King Faisal Hospital. In 2014, they became an Independent Public Health Consultant at HSA. In 2015, they took on two roles, first as a Quality Improvement Specialist at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and later as a Senior Program Learning and Scale Up Advisor at Jhpiego. In 2019, they moved to IntraHealth International as a Senior Malaria Specialist. Most recently, in 2022, they became a Senior Project Manager- RBM at Zenysis Technologies.

Jacqueline Umunyana has obtained a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the National University of Rwanda. Jacqueline also holds an MSc in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of the Witwatersrand. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Monitoring and Evaluation from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria and Project Management from Jhpiego.
