Katuula Joel

Katuula Joel is a software engineer with extensive experience in the field. In 2022, they began working as a Full Stack Engineer at Zenysis Technologies. In 2021, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Winopay Uganda Limited, where they were responsible for mentoring junior engineers, implementing new solutions, and maintaining the platform systems. In 2017, they worked as a Software Developer and Frontend Architect at Tunga, developing new platforms and maintaining existing ones. They also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at WitsmindAI in 2017. In the same year, they served as a Software Developer at Jambule, where they developed new platforms, integrated them to payments and other systems, and interfaced with field agents and users. Finally, in 2016, they interned as a Software Developer at Uganda Revenue Authority (URA), where they learned to implement new features for core internal products and worked within government organization procedures.

Katuula Joel attended Makerere University from 2013 to 2017, graduating with a Bsc. in Software Engineering in the field of Computer Software Engineering.
