Sam Yan

Sam Yan has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to investment management, finance, and software development. In 2000, they began their career as a Database Programmer at DATA group, Morningstar, Inc., before moving to Morningstar Investment Management LLC in 2001. At Morningstar, they worked as a Database/Software Developer and later as a Quantitative Analyst and Senior Investment Analyst. Sam was a key player in forming investment ideas, evaluating managers and companies, and constructing models. In 2019, Sam founded Webridge Investment Inc., where they served as Founder and President, facilitating IPOs, SPACs, and international investments. Currently, they are the Vice President of Corporate Finance at Zepto Life Technology, utilizing their extensive experience in the financial industry.

Sam Yan holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Tsinghua University (1990-1995) and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois System (1998-2000). Additionally, Sam has obtained certifications including CFP in 2015, CAIA in 2014, and CFA in 2007.
