Benard Kichakuri is a CPA with extensive work experience in accounting and auditing. CPA Benard started their career at Deloitte East Africa, where they worked as an Audit Associate from September 2007 to May 2010. CPA Benard then became an Audit Senior at the same company from June 2010 to May 2011. Afterward, they joined Gade Associates as a Partner, specializing in audit, tax, and internal controls advisory services from June 2011 to January 2014.

Later, Benard worked as the Director of Internal Audit for The County Government of Taita Taveta from February 2014 to January 2016. Subsequently, they returned to Deloitte East Africa as an Audit Senior 1, responsible for preparing audit strategies and plans for specific engagements from February 2016 to April 2016.

In May 2016, Benard became a Partner at Gade Associates, where they directed the firm's resources in delivering value to clients. In this role, they had a specific focus on accountancy, audit, tax, and advisory services. CPA Benard held this position until December 2017.

From December 2017, Benard served as the Director of Internal Audit at the Kenya Marine and Fisheries Research Institute. Here, they collaborated with senior management and the board to manage risks and improve the organization's systems and processes. CPA Benard'sefforts led to improvements in health and safety preparedness, internal controls, and client satisfaction.

Currently, Benard is serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Zeraki, beginning in June 2022.

Benard Kichakuri's education history begins with their high school education at Mang'u High School from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained their High School Education degree. CPA Benard then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree at the University of Nairobi from 2003 to 2007, specializing in Finance.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Benard furthered their education at the Institute of Software Technologies in 2012, where they earned a Diploma in Oracle Database Administration and Development. Two years later, they enrolled at the University of Nairobi once again, this time to pursue a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Finance and Accounting, which they completed in 2015.

In addition to their academic achievements, Benard Kichakuri also holds the designation of Certified Public Accountant of Kenya. This certification was obtained from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya in November 2011.
