James Jenson

James Jenson has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. James started their career in the US Navy as an Electrician's Mate Second Class, where they gained valuable experience in electrical systems. After leaving the navy, they worked as an Electrical Designer at CB Engineers, focusing on environmentally sustainable design. In 2010, they became the Owner and Energy Consultant at Just Jim, providing energy consulting services for small commercial, retail, and large residential projects. During the same period, they also served as the Captain, Chief Systems Engineer, and Restoration Manager on the Motor Yacht Fifer. In 2013, James co-founded Everything Yacht, where they served as the owner, operator, and Marine Electrical Engineer, specializing in advanced lithium storage systems and digitally controlled electrical circuits. James recently joined Zero Emission Industries as a Senior Engineer, focusing on electrical and marine engineering projects. James Jenson attended Seattle University from 2004 to 2008, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Physics. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2004, they attended Seattle Central College and obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Math and Physics. Before pursuing higher education, James Jenson completed the Navy Nuclear Propulsion Training Program from 1996 to 1998, earning a Nuclear Propulsion Certificate in Electrician's Mate. Additionally, James Jenson holds several certifications in various fields, including being a Certified Dealer and Installer for Mastervolt, Victron Energy, Peplink, Airmar Technology Corporation, Cradlepoint, and also a Certified Dealer, Installer, and Warranty Support Technician for Navico.
